Printcopia Canvas Print {Product Review}

I was excited when Printcopia contacted me about doing a product review of their Canvas Print. I think the canvas prints look great and have wanted to try one for a while now.

I’d never heard of Printcopia before, and thought I may not be alone in that, so I am happy to introduce Memoirs of a Clueless Woman readers to this Canvas Print service. I love taking pictures – mostly of myself *wink* – and I had one picture in particular that I have wanted to transfer to canvas for some time now. I took this photo from the balcony of my hotel room at the Westin Cancun while on vacation for my 30th birthday. I had the absolute best time on that trip and I look at this photo a few times a week to remind me of what I work so hard for. Ya know, work-hard-play-hard and all.

Here is my original photo (on the left) and the Printcopia Canvas Print (on the right):

For my first Canvas Print I think it came out great. The ordering process was rather simple and their site is super easy to navigate. I selected the size, uploaded the picture, selected the edge, selected a few other customizations (or standard options) and then went to the cart. It took about 7 minutes total.

In addition, the first version of the photo I uploaded was one that had been re-sized; I received an email from the art department within minutes of my confirmation asking me if I had a larger file of that same picture or of another picture because the photo I uploaded would be pixelated when enlarged. I really appreciated that they gave me the chance to send them a better quality picture and not just print what I uploaded and it not come out right.

I like how it has the hanger included on the back and the edge came out great (I chose the option that wraps around). It is stapled around the frame and my only comment is that it’s a little baggy in the back but it’s not enough of a complaint to make me not buy a future print from them.

Disclosure Statement: I received a free Printcopia Canvas Print for the purposes of this review; however all opinions are my own. Please view my disclosure policy for more information.
