I’m always on the hunt for fun activities that I can enjoy with my children. One of my goals since last year has been to make more family memories. And the best way to make memories is to do things together. Get out and about and see the world – or at least our hometown. Add in a little education with our fun, and it’s a true win-win. So when I heard about the Tots to Teens Expo coming to our area this Spring, I was delighted to help spread the word about this awesome event.

Here are the deets:

  • Who: You + the fam + nearly 10k DC area residents
  • What: A day of FREE family-friendly fun!
  • When: Saturday April 25, 2015, from 10 am to 6 pm
  • Where: Washington Convention Center
  • Why: The Tots to Teens Expo is educational, entertaining, and fun for the entire family.

My children have a wide age range – they are 17, 12, and 7. So this event truly is one size fits all. I love and appreciate events that we can all enjoy. *oh yeaaa*

There will be something for everyone:

Bumper Cars, Basketball, Face Painting, Kids Zumba Classes, and a special Living Healthy and Eating Right Stage featuring area chefs, restaurants, and nutritionists.

They’re also hosting Special Workshops on Cyber Bullying, Teen Safe Driving and CPR Training and Certification.

You can also come and participate in the special Kid’s Spa Retreat, Free Dental Exams, Free Eye Exams and opportunities to meet with some of the area’s leading schools and educators.

  1. We were interested because of the WETA ads but when we went to the website there’s not the usual information you find when you attend expos. There’s no listing of presenters, activities & vendors w/ times so that we can plan our visit. I did find out from WETA that Daniel Tiger will be there for a set time in the AM & Cat in the Hat is scheduled for a certain time in the afternoon. My mommy group is now considering the MD Day festival since they have posted their schedule and we can plan when we want to go and our activities.

  2. Yes Yes my family is going!! So excited! This would be our 1st time attending. My daughter watch Weta Kids on TV all the time. She’s counting down on her calender. lol

  3. I love events like this for the whole family, the kids love going to these when the activities are active, like the Basketball, and bumper cars! Very nice.
