1 in 3 women experience Light Bladder Leakage(LBL), but many are using period pads to manage it when they should be using Poise®!
I had no idea that the statistic was so high for LBL – but it does make me feel a little better knowing that I was far from alone in dealing with this challenge.
After I had my third child, LBL was a big issue for a little while. Whenever I laughed too hard or coughed, a little leak would occur. Luckily it didn’t last too long, just during my post-partum recovery, but I know that’s not the case for many other women out there who have ongoing issues with LBL.
Managing LBL is a whole lot easier with Poise® Thin-Shape pads. They are specially designed for LBL and will keep you dry.
Women deserve the best options for managing LBL. Whether you leak a little when you laugh, or sometimes have a sudden urge to go, Poise® gives you one less thing to worry about any time of day or night. Poise® pads and liners are specifically designed for LBL, which makes them an easy choice for the 1 in 3 women with light bladder leaks.
Designed to move with your body, new Poise® Thin-Shape pads feature Super Absorbent Material and a Thin-Flex design for extraordinary protection that’s still 3x drier than period pads; to help you take care of leaks with confidence.
Use Poise® And Recycle Your Period Pads
You’re probably wondering what in the world you should do with your period pads once you start using Poise®. Well, my favorite use for them is as ice packs!
All you have to do to make your own ice pack is this:
- Soak the pad in (cold) water
- Put the soaked pad into a plastic zip-up bag
- Put the bag into the freezer for a few hours
Not long after, you’ll have a really cold, long-lasting ice pack.
The pads have been coming in handy for her icing sessions.
She’s not too happy about it (did you see that face?) BUT, the pads make icing a lot easier.
