This post is a part of the behind the scenes series where we show you photos – and tell the real story behind them. A sneak peek behind the scenes, a look past the edges of the photo to the life behind it.

The Story:

One of the best things about being a mom blogger is the community. When I started blogging, I admit that I was overwhelmed. There are so many clubs and communities that are enticing you to join them; and it can be a bit much. Which ones should I join? What should I look for in a club or community? What will I be able to contribute being so new to this? So many questions, very little answers. One of the organizations I thankfully did join, The Mom Bloggers Club Network, recently joined forces with an outstanding company: The Mommy’s Club (affiliate link).

When I first heard about The Mommy’s Club I was definitely intrigued – non-toxic products are always a good thing with my kids and their sensitive skin. Their products are excellent and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spreading the word on a great company – which is partnered with an awesome mom blogger community to boot. When I received an email that I won a free mom blogger t-shirt in a random drawing, I was all too excited. See, I rarely win anything. But since I started blogging, my luck has surely changed. I have won t-shirts, free products, ad space, eBooks, and more. It’s been very exciting for a former no-luck non-winner such as myself. So, once I received my t-shirt, I just had to show it off! *wink*

I’m a Mom Blogger

If someone would have told me a year ago that I would be where I am now I never would’ve believed them. I barely understood what a blogger was 12 months ago; let alone saw myself as a future mom blogger. Now, here I am with my growing community – 15,000+ fans and climbing – and opportunities that I never knew existed. And all this has happened because I’m a mom blogger.

I want to hear from you!

What is your favorite thing about the mom blogger community? Please leave a me comment below and let’s have a discussion.

  1. It sounded like you fit in right away. I’ll read more of the mom blogs whenever I have my children (probably not in this decade).

  2. My favorite thing is the giveaways, the deals and sales that are shared. All the tips from cleaning, time savers, and recipes. It’s a wonderful community to be a part of.

  3. I love the t-shirt! And you’re so right about finding so much support in the blogger community, reading other people’s posts makes it so clear that whatever we thought was a unique struggle is actually one that so many other moms go through. Lovely idea!
