My Personal Declaration for 2014

The Story:

The last few months, I was searching for something. I was transforming my business – again – and trying to figure out what my next steps should be. I did some Twitter hopping not too long ago and discovered some amazing people that I started following. One of these amazing people, Natalie MacNeil of She Takes on the World – not only followed me back but sent me a DM. Now, after you take a look at her site, see her groundbreaking brand, and what’s she’s accomplished you will understand why I was in shock. A good shock. a “I just got waved at by a celebrity” type of shock.

After reading Natalie’s website, and learning about her and her declaration for women entrepreneurs – to see us build empires out of our businesses – I was absolutely drawn to her cause. What I love most about Natalie, and what she’s passionate about doing, is that she focuses on the whole person. Not just tools for business, but tools for life. After all, can you really separate the two? I don’t think so. You cannot build an empire if your mindset and personal well-being are not intentionally geared towards living on purpose. What that purpose will be is for you to decide. But the thought of knowing who you are, what you want, why you are doing what you’re doing, and what is going to get you there – is powerful. It’s empowered. It’s inspired. It’s magical.

My Personal Declaration 2014

Natalie offers a free 14-day Conquer Course when you sign up for her mailing list. The first part of the course discusses your intentions for your business – becoming clear and very specific – and then making a personal declaration for what you will achieve in the next year. My personal declaration for 2014 is: “I will help at least 30 mamas stress-less and live joyous mommyhood by completing my first book and launching my mentoring program.” SN: it’s changed a little since I first started and took the above picture.

Even more exciting than getting clear on my intentions for my business, is that soon after joining The Conquer Club, I applied and was accepted into Natalie’s Conquer Concord; which is a life-changing opportunity. I get chills when I think about how wonderful 2014 is going to be – and not just because I will be headed to Bali in September. But because everything I do, every minute I live, will be intentional. I will have the right mindset and access to the tools I need to build & grow. The people I will surround myself with will be like-minded superstars who are going to propel me forward. And my business, and life, is going to thrive because of it.

I want to hear from you!

What are some of the ways you keep the right mindset so you can grow your business? Please leave me a comment below and let’s have a discussion.

  2. Carin!!! This is amazing. I also follow Natalie; she’s so great. Bali will be an amazing opportunity. I have thought about joining the Conquer Club….maybe it’s something we can discuss soon. My goal for the first few days of the New Year is to really define my goals by making them concrete, achievable, and toward the direction of making my brand amazing.
